Qualifications for the Canadian Eventing Championships -- Eastern (Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes) October 14-15, 2023. Wesley Clover Parks, Ottawa.
Competitors must have completed one EC-sanctioned horse trial in 2023 that meets the Canadian Minimum Eligibility Requirements (CMER), at the level they wish to enter (for EV60, Champs entries must have completed one EC sanctioned HT at the level but CMER will not be applied).
Eligibility requirements (CMER):
- Dressage: maximum of 45 penalty points (55%)
- Cross-country: 0 jumping penalties and max 30 time penalties [riders can activate 1 frangible device and maintain CMER result];
- Stadium Jumping: maximum of 16 jumping penalties.
Anyone who hasn’t met the eligibility requirements by the closing date for Champs is invited to enter the HT on October 14-15 in the regular divisions.
